One of the country’s fastest power plants to come into operation is United Ashuganj Power Ltd. having being completed within 120 days. The plant was based on quick rental basis, attaining COD on 22/06/2011. The plant generated and output of 53 MW contributing to the much-needed electricity supply to the national grid. The plant is currently offline as per expiry of agreement and awaits further scope of renewal.
