Strengthening Collaboration, Shaping Our Shared Vision
In April 2025, United Group hosted its Brand Community Meeting at Chef’s Table Courtside, bringing together teams from across all Strategic Business Units. The gathering served as a collaborative forum to align strategies, exchange perspectives, and explore upcoming campaigns.

The Pohela Boishakh festivities brought colleagues together like family, embracing the spirit of fresh beginnings, cultural pride, and shared happiness. With traditional décor brightening the space, festive treats enjoyed by all, and laughter filling the day, it was a moment to pause and connect beyond work. The celebration marked not just the start of a new year, but a renewed sense of togetherness and optimism.

Bangladesh, a small riverine country with evergreen lands, is filled with enormous natural beauty. With the aim of making the Vision 2041 a reality, the country has achieved a major milestone with the inauguration of the ‘Padma Bridge’.
Focusing on the amazing development and progress of the country, this year’s Uniting Dreams Season 3 Staff Photography Contest’s theme is ‘Scenes From Bangladesh’ that will highlight the beauty of any corner of this country.
The competition started from August 1, 2022 and will end on September 15, 2022. A Panel of judges, consisting of renowned photographs and art critics, will be conducting the selection procedure.
What is the prize?
- Winner and the two runner ups will receive DSLR Cameras
- Best 13 photographs will receive special crest from the Chairman and Managing Director and their photos will be highlighted in the United Group yearly calendar 2023.
- All participants will receive recognition certificates from the Chairman and Managing Director.
- Most engaging team/business unit will receive dinner coupon worth BDT 50,000
All power plants of United Group celebrate World Environment Day through tree plantation and awareness programs across Bangladesh.
Congratulations UIU Mars Rover Team
UIU Mars Rover team from United International University has secured 13th place out of all 36 Finalists and 1st among the Asian teams in the prestigious University Rover Challenge (URC) 2022. The competition was organsed by the Mars Society and took place in the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in the southern Utah, USA. 36 teams from 10 different countries including USA, Poland, India, Bangladesh, Australia, Canada, Columbia, Egypt, Mexico and Turkiye compete in the grand final of the competition. During the three day final in 02-04 June, the teams performed four missions including science exploration, autonomous navigation, extreme terrain traversal and Equipment servicing mission to demonstrate the capabilities of their rover and operation skills. UIU Mars Rover successfully completed all four missions and represented the university along with the country with pride.
