To share the joy and festivity of Eid-ul-Fitr, we provided Eid gifts to our subscribed customers through Pathao. These gifts contained Attar from Al-Haramain, traditional laccha shemai from Alauddin, and other items to share the joyas festivity. We wanted to show our appreciation for our customers and thank them for choosing Wellbeing Pharmacy as their healthcare provider.
At the end of the month, we re-opened our Dhanmondi Wellbeing outlet on 29.04.23 after two months of renovation work. Our goal was to serve our Dhanmondi customers in a more improved and better way. We understand the importance of providing our customers with a comfortable and welcoming environment, and we’re confident that the new outlet will meet their needs. We have added new interios, expanded our roaming area, and hired additional staff to provide our customers with the best possible healthcare services.

For example, we organized free health camps, where our customers could receive basic health tests, free doctor consultations, and dietitian consultations. International Women’s Day is an important day that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. To mark this occasion, we ran a special promotion on Ribana and Guerniss Products. From 8th to 10th March, customers were able to enjoy discounts on these popular brands. As the holy month of Ramadan approached, we partnered with United Hospital Limited to offer a Pre Ramadan free Health Screening Campaign at United Executive Complex on March 23rd. We were thrilled to serve over 50 patients with basic health tests, including blood pressure, blood sugar, Oxygen Saturation, Weight & BMI. We also provided free consultations with doctors and dietitians. The goal of this campaign was to raise awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and to provide our customers with access to free healthcare services.

On February 17th, 2023, Wellbeing Pharmacy held its annual day out for all employees, including those who work at the various outlets and those who work at the head office. The day was filled with activities and fun, as everyone gathered to celebrate the achievements of the past year and look forward to the future.
The day began with an energizing breakfast, where everyone had a chance to mingle and catch up with colleagues from other locations. This helped to foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration among the employees.
After the team-building exercise, we had Inter outlet cricket match where had found our champion and runners up outlet.
Following the cricket match, everyone gathered back, then we had musical chair game for our female colleague and guest.
The highlight of the day was the complimentary food that was provided for all attendees. The food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to sit down and socialize with their colleagues.
In addition to the activities and food, the day provided an opportunity for employees to connect with their colleagues and build relationships that extend beyond the workplace. The annual day out is an important event in the Wellbeing Pharmacy calendar, and it helps to foster a positive company culture and a sense of community among its employees.

Today was the inauguration of the Medical Oxygen Generation Plant at M A Rashid Hospital.
Standard Chartered Bangladesh recently collaborated with United Trust to make sure that patients at M A Rashid Hospital in Jamalpur have ready access to life-saving medical oxygen.
The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated both local and global demand for oxygen and made the delivery of oxygen supplies more urgent. Ensuring access to oxygen has become a very challenging task especially in areas away from the urban centers.
To solve the issues of quality, affordability, and availability, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh has donated a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Medical Oxygen Generation Plant to M A Rashid Hospital. The oxygen plant’s total installed capacity of 303 litres/minute will support up to 80 ailing patients.
Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bangladesh, said, “Access to a steady oxygen supply can be the difference between life and death for patients at all levels of the healthcare system. For rural communities like Jamalpur, there is a ‘before’ and an ‘after’ when it comes to this oxygen generation plant. Before, patients felt the issues of scarcity at every stage of the treatment process. Now, patients and their families can rest easy with the assurance that they will receive the oxygen they need when they need it. This intervention highlights and fixes a key problem in our medical – it ensures that oxygen in produced in target areas and in doing so, makes access to oxygen reliable and sustainable. It is not a one-off donation or a reactive response to an unprecedented pandemic – instead it is an effort, on the Bank’s part, to develop and strengthen the skills, instincts, and abilities that our local organisations and communities need to truly flourish. It is an honour to partner with United Trust, which acts as an immense force for good nationwide.”
